Requirements

Proven track record of working within an operating theatre as an ODP
Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
Experience with scrub and circulating roles in varied surgical cases
Familiarity with elective and trauma procedures

Responsibilities

Provide general scrub and circulating skills across a varied range of patient cases
Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
Support patients during elective and trauma surgical procedures
Maintain sterile field and instrument preparation in the operating theatre
Assist with patient positioning and transfer to and from the operating table
Monitor equipment functionality and ensure availability during procedures
Participate in theatre turnaround and preparation for subsequent cases
