About this role
At Residential Home Health and Hospice, we’re looking to add to our extraordinary care team. Grounded by our belief that outstanding care is best delivered in a team-based environment, our home health speech language pathologists collaborate to provide management and delivery of patient care plans. This position supports patients in Manatee County and surrounding areas.
Speech language pathologists deliver therapy services in patients' homes, focusing on speech, language, and swallowing needs. They utilize state-of-the-art technology to reduce time spent on charting and ensure efficient care delivery. Flexible schedules support work-life balance while meeting patient demands.

Requirements
- Master’s degree from a speech and hearing program certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association to practice in the state in which you work
- License and certification as a Speech Therapist, issued by the state in which you will work
- Minimum of one year healthcare experience
- Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations
- A commitment to consistently meet critical deadlines for charting
- The skills needed to self-manage your time and schedule
- Demonstrated experience with tablets, mobile phones and EMR software
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team to manage and deliver patient care plans
- Provide speech-language therapy services in home health settings
- Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on speech therapy strategies
- Document patient progress and complete charting to meet deadlines
- Drive to and from patient locations for home visits
