About this role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Health Information Manager / Clinical Coder to join our team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional seeking flexibility, with part-time or full-time arrangements available. The role is multi-site across Frances Perry House and Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, with onsite coding required at both locations.

In this role, you will be responsible for accurate and timely clinical coding, supporting high-quality health information management. You will ensure compliance with reporting and funding requirements across both sites. Deliver coding in accordance with Australian Coding Standards and complete within required timeframes.

Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams while maintaining high standards of data quality, accuracy, and confidentiality. Days and hours are negotiable in a supportive and professional work environment. Contribute positively to a team environment across two well-established healthcare facilities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Health Information Manager and/or Clinical Coder
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical coding (acute care experience preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
  • Knowledge of Australian Coding Standards

Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate clinical coding in accordance with Australian Coding Standards
  • Complete coding within required timeframes to support reporting and funding
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Support high-quality health information management across multi-site locations
  • Ensure compliance with reporting and funding requirements
