As a Grade 2 Dietitian, you will improve patient outcomes through high-quality, evidence-based nutrition care across critical care and gastrointestinal surgery.

You will assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop individualised care plans. Provide nutrition education and counselling to patients and families. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support personalised nutrition planning.

Allied Health at Cabrini is a rapidly expanding service with twelve professional disciplines. The department delivers high-quality care organisation-wide in a highly integrated environment. You will work independently in our weekday dietetics service, applying specialist-level clinical knowledge.

Opportunities include research and quality improvement initiatives, professional development, teaching, and student supervision. Cultivate strong external and university partnerships. Grow in senior consultant and leadership roles within a supportive team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ post-graduate experience in an acute or sub-acute healthcare setting
  • Master’s degree in Dietetics
  • Demonstrated experience in ICU and gastrointestinal surgery
  • Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with Dietitians Australia
  • Leadership experience within a specialised clinical area
  • Demonstrated ability to consult and collaborate with others and work as an effective member of a team
  • Strong commitment to evidence-based practice, innovation, and ongoing professional development
  • Experience in student supervision (clinical placements)

Responsibilities
