About this role
Apollo Hospitals seeks an EPABX Desk Operator to manage maintenance complaints and material inventory in a leading healthcare provider. With state-of-the-art facilities and a dedicated team, you will ensure efficient handling of departmental requests for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing needs. This role supports seamless hospital operations through coordinated technician support.
Day-to-day duties include issuing material requisitions to the purchase department and following up, taking stock of materials and indenting when stock is low. As desk operator, attend complaint calls from rooms and departments, log them, and inform shift technicians. Assist technicians with major work and generate weekly reports on pending complaints.

Requirements
- Graduate with Trade certificate
- 1st division in 10th and 12th
- 1-3 years of experience in EPABX, floor wise telephone distribution panel
- Knowledge of materials (Electrical, HVAC, plumbing etc)
- Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
- Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Compassionate with good communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Issue material requisitions to purchase department and follow up for the same
- Take stock of materials and indent as and when stock is less
- Assist shift technicians for any major work
- Take room and other complaints from different departments as desk operator and inform concern shift technicians
- Attend complaint calls and log the same
- Generate weekly report on pending complaints
