About this role

We are hiring CT, MRI, IR and Radiographer Tech's for various Mount Carmel locations including Mount Carmel East, St. Ann's, Grove City and Dublin. Hours and shifts vary. Offering Full Time and casual positions with Part time potential; New Grads welcome.

The Technologist performs a variety of procedures within their scope both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality. Provides patient care, ensures an environment of patient safety. Promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives while exhibiting professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.

Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS). Accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy with high level of accuracy. Supports hospital imaging services across multiple sites.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program (CT, IR, Radiographer) or Magnetic Resonance Technology Program (MRI)
  • Knowledge of Cross Sectional Anatomy and Pathology required (CT, MRI)
  • Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Valid State of Ohio Radiological License required
  • MRI: Registered as MR Technologist (ARRT-MR) or ARMRIT
  • CT registry preferred; IR: CI or CV registry preferred
  • Prior experience preferred (MRI, CT, IR, Radiographer)
  • Current CPR certification required

Responsibilities

  • Provides patient care and ensures an environment of patient safety
  • Promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives
  • Exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards
  • Performs a variety of procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality
  • Enters on-line charges in the Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Maintains accountability for charges as specified by Administrative Policy
